Celebrate Summer!

Hello everyone! TGIF, right? And how cute is this sign?! It actually makes you want to “Celebrate Summer!”

The other day, Amanda and I were taking pictures outside of Chocolaterie Stam on Main Street. It was a little on the warm side, so I really wanted to get something refreshing. This strawberry smoothie from Cafe Diem was so good! You should know that I kind of consider myself a smoothie expert, so you should probably take my word for it. :)

I felt like going on the casual side that day, so I wore a sundress from Goodwill.  When I bought the dress, I was so excited. First of all, it fit me perfectly, and how often does that happen when thrifting? And second, the pattern is so cute! Definitely worth the $5. The down side of the dress is that it’s a little on the short side, so unless it’s extremely hot, I don’t usually like to expose both my arms and legs. Just sticking to one or the other keeps it a little more classy. Plus, the extra layer of the chambray shirt give the outfit a little more personality!

I added a bit of bright color to my outfit with my coral-red bag.  This is such a great outfit for going to class, shopping, going to lunch, or to a movie! I think this is a great dress that I can transition into fall with some leggings and cardigan. I can already see it!

I will be spending today cleaning and getting ready to go home for Father’s Day. My sister will be home too, so I’m very much looking forward to seeing her, my parents, and of course the puppies. :)

Thanks so much for reading! Have a wonderful weekend!
